General FAQ
What’s my ring size?
The average ring size for women is a 6. The best way to know your ring size is to measure your finger, and you can do this right at home. Here are some easy steps to follow:
1. Take a piece of string or paper and wrap it around the base of your finger.
2. Mark the point where the string/paper overlaps with a pen or marker.
3. Lay the string/paper on a flat surface.
4. Measure the length in millimeters with a ruler.
5. Compare your measurements to charts online. There lots of handy tools to help you figure out your ring size!
What’s my bracelet size?
Standard women’s bracelets are 7-7.5 inches (17.8-19.0 cm), with the bracelet sitting between the wrist bone and base of the hand. You can figure out your bracelet size the same way you measure your ring size right at home (see steps in “What’s my ring size?” and substitute bracelet for ring). The catch for bracelet size is adding ½ inch for comfort, but this all depends on how snugly you want your bracelet to fit.
What are the different necklace sizes?
Necklaces come in all shapes and sizes. Standard women’s necklaces range from 16-20 inches, but one size doesn’t fit all! Here is a general size guide!
14-16 inch necklaces fit like chokers.
18 inch necklaces fall right around the collarbone and are the most
common chain length.
24 inch necklaces fall below the neckline, and 36 inch necklaces fall
below the bust.
How do I care for my jewelry?
Most metals and jewelry materials can be cleaned with warm water, a little dish soap, a soft-bristle toothbrush, and a microfiber cloth. Avoid using abrasive sponges or cloths, as they can erode plating. Brass and sterling silver may tarnish over time, so investing in polishing cloths can help restore their shine. Pearls should only be cleaned with a small amount of water and a microfiber cloth.
For storage, keep jewelry away from moisture and direct sunlight. It’s best to store pieces separately to prevent tangling or damage. Brass and silver should be kept in airtight storage to slow tarnishing. Always remove jewelry before engaging in physical activities or cleaning, and avoid exposure to harsh chemicals like bleach, as they may cause damage.
